I’m Amine, an IT director based in London. I lead technology strategy and operations, bringing together cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation and governance.

Amine Amrani

About me

I started by helping small businesses with their IT while studying, then progressed through administration, management and director-level roles. My experience spans care and clinical research, where technology needs to support people, protect information and work reliably.

Today, I work with executive teams on strategy, investment and risk, lead IT teams and suppliers, and stay involved in the technical decisions behind delivery.

Cloud & infrastructure

I plan and deliver cloud migrations, modern workplace services and infrastructure improvements, combining architecture, supplier coordination and hands-on implementation.

Azure AWS Microsoft 365 Hybrid cloud

Security & compliance

My work covers identity and endpoint protection, cyber-risk reporting, policies, staff awareness and business continuity, including governance and quality processes in regulated environments.

AI & automation

I connect systems and automate workflows, from employee lifecycle processes to operational dashboards. I also help shape responsible AI adoption, balancing practical experimentation with governance.

Leadership & strategy

I build internal IT capability, develop teams, manage budgets and supplier relationships, and turn business priorities into technology roadmaps and investment decisions.

Amrani Academy

Free workplace training for businesses.

I created Amrani Academy to make practical workplace training freely available to businesses. The courses cover cyber security, data protection, responsible AI use and business continuity, with no account required.

Short lessons, assessments and verifiable certificates of completion.

Outside work

I build and deploy apps in my spare time to understand the whole process, from an idea through development, release and ongoing operation. These projects are how I learn by doing.

Noor

iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android

A daily companion for prayer and Qur’an.

Prayer times, Qur’an reading and recitation, and a Qibla compass in one app. Offline prayer calculations, widgets and Apple Watch support bring it into everyday use.

Asset Hub

IT asset lifecycle platform

An application for managing equipment through its working life, connecting device records, sign-in and employee lifecycle events.

Django PostgreSQL
Explore the build

I designed and built Asset Hub to bring equipment administration into a connected workflow. It combines asset records, Entra sign-in, Intune synchronisation, label printing and employee lifecycle integration.

The platform uses Django, PostgreSQL and Celery, with automated testing and a container-based delivery process.

Ops Hub

Mobile administration

A console that brings Microsoft 365, device management, tickets, automation and monitoring into a view designed for a phone.

Microsoft Graph APIs
Explore the build

I built Ops Hub to make routine administration practical on a small screen. It brings service information and operational actions together through integrations with Microsoft 365 and infrastructure tooling.

The console is built for private operational use.

CardStock

Inventory and sales

A trading card stock and sales system, from photo-based identification and inventory intake to live selling and fulfilment.

In production use
Explore the build

CardStock brings stock records, QR tags, sales and fulfilment into one workflow. I built features for photo-based card identification, barcode intake, collection imports and event reporting.

SiteSurvey

iOS · TestFlight

Capture site photos and voice notes, then turn the findings into branded reports for IT and property surveys.

Swift SwiftUI

I developed SiteSurvey around the work of walking a site and recording observations. The app is currently available on TestFlight.

Learning by building

These projects help me understand what it takes to develop, test, deploy and maintain an application. I use AI coding tools as part of that learning, alongside specifications, testing and review.

  1. Start with a clear specification

Define the user’s problem, constraints, architecture and acceptance criteria before implementation.

  2. Build with checks in place

Coordinate coding agents against the specification, with static analysis, automated tests and container build checks.

  3. Review before release

Use a second AI system to challenge the implementation, track findings and resolve them before deployment.
